Physical Therapy
The Physical Therapy clinic provides rehabilitative services to students with a referral. These are accepted from Baylor and off-campus physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants. Treatment sessions may include exercise programs, aquatic therapy, joint mobilization, modalities and functional training.
Direct patient access also allows the physical therapist to treat patients for up to 10 days without a referral, after the 10 day period a referral from a healthcare professional must be obtained before continuation of treatment.
Location: The Physical Therapy Clinic is an extension of BUHS and is located on the second floor of the McLane Student Life Center.
Cost: Baylor Physical Therapy is in-network with most major insurances.
Appointments: To schedule an appointment with the physical therapist, please call 254-710-4249. You can have your referral faxed to 254-710-2499 or you can bring it to your first appointment.
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday
Services: General Orthopedic Rehabilitation, General Neurological Rehabilitation. Sports Rehabilitation, Sports Rehabilitation and Aquatic Therapy.
Services Provided To: Students, Faculty and Staff only.
What to Wear and Bring:
Wear or bring comfortable clothing that permits movement, such as exercise clothes or a t-shirt and shorts. Wear closed-toe athletic shoes. (No flip-flops, please.)
Bring your BU ID card or valid photo ID, your insurance card (if you have insurance), and your referral for physical therapy.
