West Nile Virus

With the recent rain, please be aware of ways to help prevent West Nile virus.

West Nile virus is spread by the Culex mosquito. 

• Use insect repellant
• Empty any containers that may have water in them
• Avoid being outside for prolonged period of time, especially in the evenings (dusk to dawn is when Culex mosquitoes tend to bite)
