Immunizations
Routine Immunizations REQUIRED for enrollment are:
- Tetanus-Diphtheria (Td) or Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis (TDaP) - within 10 years
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)- two doses (both after first birthday)
- Meningococcal Vaccine- for all entering students under age 22 (within 5 years and 10 days from first day of class)
These are available at Health Services.
Additional Immunizations available at Health Services:
- Hepatitis A (two shot series)
- Hepatitis B (two shot series)
- Gardasil (three shot series)
- Varicella (two shot series)
- Influenza
- Typhoid
- Yellow Fever
- Rabies- post exposure only
- Covid-19 Vaccines*
*Please note: Health Services is not offering Covid-19 vaccines at this time. Please check back for updates as this is subject to change.
The hours for vaccine administration are Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, please call to schedule an appointment (254) 710-1010 or log into the Health Portal.
A Student May Request an Exemption from Required Vaccinations for Religious or Other Health Reasons.
Incoming students must use the official Texas Health and Human Services exemption affidavit. The form can be downloaded at DSHS.Texas.gov. The original form must be completed, notarized, and mailed to Baylor University Health Services Attn: Medical Records, 209 Speight Ave Fl 2, Waco, TX 76706. It is the student's responsibility to complete the form and have it notarized and mailed in time to arrive before their move-in date.
