Lab Services

To get lab tests done at the Baylor Health Center, you need an order from a healthcare provider. 

If you want labs ordered by a BUHS physician, you should first make a primary care appointment by calling 254-710-1010. Orders from off-campus healthcare providers should be faxed directly to us at 254-710-2499 or brought in advance before making your lab appointment. 

Your healthcare provider should explain how, if necessary, you should prepare for your lab test, but feel free to call with any questions.

While we draw samples for almost all tests, we only perform a limited number in-house. All other tests are sent out to Clinical Pathology Laboratories (CPL) and the results are sent directly from CPL to the ordering provider. Before your lab appointment, please ensure that they are in network with your insurance. CPL bills insurance and the patient directly.
