Prescription Drug Insurance
Baylor Pharmacy accepts most insurance plans including Aetna, most Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans, Cigna, CVS/Caremark, Express Scripts, Humana, OptumRx (United Healthcare), and many more. Notable exceptions include Kaiser Permanente, and Medicaid. As of 01/01/2022, we are no longer contracted with Tricare.
If your insurance plan requires a copay, payment may be billed to your student account, or paid with a check or credit card. at the time the prescription is picked up.
Please note...many insurance companies provide a separate or special card for pharmacy use. If you are bringing in an insurance card, please make sure it has the following information: RxBIN, RxPCN, ID#, Group#.
If your card doesn't have this information, it may be just for your medical coverage. You should have a separate card for your pharmacy benefits that includes those fields.
