Required Immunizations and Exemptions
Texas state law requires that students under the age of 22 submit documentation of current MCV4 Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination, unless an exemption has been granted. Documentation is due by May 15. Failure to submit documentation will result in a hold being placed on your account. You will not be able to move into the residence hall or attend classes if the hold is in place.
Routine Immunizations REQUIRED for enrollment are:
- Tetanus-Diphtheria (Td) or Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis (TDaP) - within 10 years
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)- two doses (both after first birthday)
- Meningococcal Vaccine (e.g. Menactra, MenQuadFi, Menveo, or Penbraya) - for all entering students under age 22 (within 5 years and 10 days from first day of class)
