Goals/Plans: After graduation, I plan on going to medical school to become a trauma surgeon, where I can use my passion for medical humanities and public health in the field. Goals/Plans: After graduating in May 2023, I will be attending seminary to walk towards a vocation in Healthcare Chaplaincy. This will allow me to attend to the intersection between medicine and spirituality for the ill and hurting. I am excited for this year in SHAC and another year of getting to see students connected to health and wellness!

Goals/Plans: After graduating from Baylor, I plan on attending a DPT program to become a physical therapist. In my future career, I aspire to serve those in need and improve patient quality of life. I have always been fascinated by how health and wellness are interconnected and how much proper care affects our body. I hope to one day work in a hospital and pursue some form of pediatric-based research. I have always enjoyed helping others and loved serving my community among different teams of individuals. After graduation I hope to attend medical school and Pursue my passions of becoming an emergency medicine doctor. Goals/Plans: After Baylor, I plan to attend graduate school to study Human Performance in hopes of working in the health and wellness field. I love learning how to improve the wellbeing, physically and mentally/spiritually, and I hope my work and care brings aid and comfort to others. With the desire to travel and work, I look forward to studying abroad soon and learn about other cultures/regions and their health needs as well. I am so excited to see where this journey takes me!

Goals/Plans: My name is Rachel and I'm a senior anthropology major on the pre-law track! I take the LSAT in October and hope to go to Baylor Law. I love being in SHAC and can't wait to see what all we have planned for this semester!

Goals/Plans: After Baylor, I hope to spend a year abroad getting a master’s in philosophy of Science before matriculating into medical school and eventually specializing in Oncology. I have enjoyed my time in SHAC being able to work towards notable change on campus, and I look forward to another great year with some awesome people!

Goals/Plans: Called to serve within medicine, I hope to pursue a career as a physician after graduating Baylor. I am passionate about working with the pediatric population as well as underserved communities within the larger arena of public health, reducing health disparities with awareness campaigns, community outreach, and lobbying for better policies. In the future, I hope to continue this dedicated work within medicine and pursue a MD/MPH where I can be an advocate and a voice for those in need to help support and create initiatives surrounding behavioral health, self-advocacy, and more. With the opportunity of SHAC, I am excited to be a part of this council to better serve the Baylor student body and their health needs!

I plan on pursuing a joint MBA/MHA degree afterwards and finding a career in hospital administration.
