Ronald Nelson

Dr. Nelson graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences in 1986.  He earned his DO from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 1991 and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in 1995.  Prior to joining Baylor Health Services Dr. Nelson worked at Baylor Scott and White ER in College Station

Dr. Nelson is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Nelson and his wife, Lisa, have two children Emily (BU graduate) and Kyle (TAMU graduate). Dr. Nelson enjoys fishing, golf, working with cattle on his ranch and bluegrass music.  Dr. Nelson is also an exceptional banjo player!
