Heather Clinton
DNP, APRN, FNP-C, Staff Nurse Practitioner

Heather is a Waco native whose nursing career spans over 25 years in serving her local community. She received an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from McLennan Community College in 2001, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2007, a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2010, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in 2020.
Heather has been on staff at Baylor since 2017. Prior to coming to Baylor, she practiced in various cardiology, family medicine, drug & alcohol rehabilitation, and hospice settings. She continues to serve as an adjunct clinical professor and clinical preceptor for the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi nursing programs.
Heather is married with 2 children. Her hobbies include spending time with family & friends and playing bass guitar on her church's worship team.
